Recipe for pumpkin bars/muffins?
I want to use Paula Deen's recipe for pumpkin bars, but I'd like to put them into a silicone muffin mold that I have, instead of a baking dish. Should they turn out just as well? I'm not seeing a reason why they wouldn't but I just thought I'd ask any of you who know more about the "rules" of baking. Thanks! 
You could use Paul Deens recipe and put in Muffin Pans just might take a little longer, so check for readiness, or try this recipe and put it in muffin pans and check if ready ten minutes early since in muffin pans will usually finish in a bit less time. But this recipe is great and once you try it you wont want any other, some people like to add a little cream cheese frosting, any basic recipe and make it like a cupcake others like a little sugar powdered on top, but great as is, Good with or without nuts, or could replace half the nuts with raisins if desired. You might need to use more than one muffin pan or cook one tray at a time, if your pans do not fit all the batter. I like to half the recipe also sometimes. Also, I have another helpful idea for you; although this recipe calls for canned, you could also use fresh. If you have any leftover jackolanters instead of using the canned, try making purea out of the jackolanters, but make sure you strain it first before using it, and you may need more than one pumpkin, pumpkin is easy to cook and roast, I would tell you how but that would be off topic, but anyway two cups of fresh equal one 15 oz can if you choose to do that.
Ingredients
1 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups white sugar
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground allspice
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease one 10 inch bundt or Tube Pan.
2.Cream oil, beaten eggs, pumpkin and vanilla together.
3.Sift the flour, sugar, baking soda, ground nutmeg, ground allspice, ground cinnamon, ground cloves and salt together. Add the flour mixture to the pumpkin mixture and mix until just combined. If desired, stir in some chopped nuts. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
4.Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Let cake cool in pan for 5 minutes then turn out onto a plate and sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
