Easy Cupcake Recipe

For an easy vanilla flavored cupcake, you will be needing the following ingredients: 2 ¼ cups of all purpose flour, 3 teaspoons of baking powder, 1 1/3 cups of sugar, ½ cup of teaspoon salt, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, 1 cup milk and ½ cup shortening.

First thing, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in a mixing bowl. Put in the shortening, vanilla and milk. Mix the ingredients and beat for about 2 minutes on an average speed. Add the 2 eggs to the mixture and beat for about 1 minute on a regular speed. Cover the cupcake pans with paper liners. Spoon over the cupcake batter into the paper liners until ¾ full.

Preheat the oven and set it to 350 degrees.

Bake the cupcakes more or less about 25 minutes. You could also insert a toothpick in the middle of the cupcake to check if its already done. If toothpick comes out clean then cupcake is already good to go. Cool the cupcakes for about 5 minutes then remove from the pan. Once cooled, you can now start frosting your cupcakes with your own recipe.

Black Forest Cupcake

Here are the ingredients you will need for black forest cupcake. 425 grams cherries in can, 1 egg, 2 tablespoon self raising flour, 2 tablespoon cocoa powder, 60 ml cherry brandy, 150 grams all purpose flour, 100g dark chocolate, 165 grams butter and 295 grams superfine sugar.

First, pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees. Cover the cupcake pans with paper liners. Drain the cherries and set aside the syrup. Take half cup of cherries, along with half cup of syrup into the food processor. Cut the remaining cherries and set aside.

Put the chocolate, butter, sugar, cherry puree and brandy into the saucepan. Melt the chocolate over a low temperature. Set aside the melted chocolate and keep it cool for 15 minutes.

Add in the sifted flour as well as the cocoa. Beat the mixture as you add in the egg. Divide the mixture among the cake cases. Bake the cupcakes for about 45 minutes.

As for the decoration, pour in the brandy into the whipped cream. Put in the remaining cherries cut into half on top of each cupcake. Top the cupcakes with cream. Scrape along the sides of the chocolate bar to create curls using a peeler. Use these curls to decorate each of your cupcake.
