Is there a difference between all purpose flour and cake flour?
I have a recipe for yellow cake and it says "cake flour" do you think it'd be okay if I just used regular all purpose flour?
katie-- measure the all purpose flour and remove 1 table spoon from each cup then add 1 table spoon corn starch to each cup of flour sift togeather and use as cake flour.
It want be as good as cake flour but it will be better than just all purpose flour for cakes. jim b
