Mixing two brownie packages together in one pan?
Im gonna make brownies and there is this chart on the back of the box that says to make them thicker use 8x8 pan and if you wanna make them really thick use a 9x9 pan but I have two packages and i just want to use one 13x9 pan! Is this ok will it ruin it or be to much? idk if it matters but its Betty Crocker fudge brownie mix!
As long as you just double all the ingredients, you'll be fine. Cook them longer since you are cooking double the mix and the pan is bigger - but that does NOT mean double time! (Don't ask me how I know that.) I would probably add 10 minutes to the time and check it then. Use the toothpick test - not directly in the center, but between the side and the center - and that should give you an idea of when they are cooked to the consistency you enjoy.
