if I have a gas oven, should I cook the strip steak in the broiler and for how long?
My broiler is at the bottom of the oven and therefore the broiler flame will almost be touching the steak. Also, should I cook it in the broiler or the oven and for how long. for both ways?
I also want the steak to be medium well.
Hell no! Use a Black iron skillet. I just answered "Blossoms" question. Please, go look at it. Otherwise, your steak stands a good chance of seaming like you steamed it or you will over do it!
