How to make Betty Crocker Chocolate Icing better?
So I have the Betty Crocker chocolate icing. I realized its not exactly as smooth or soft as I would want it to be. I make the cake at night, let it cool, put on the icing, put it in a plastic container over night, wake up the next day, and the icing turns out really hard and bleh. Is there anything I can ADD to that icing to make it softer and smoother without ruining the taste? Thanks 
Microwave it to melt it, mix with some Hershey's chocolate syrup. Pour it over the cake. Yummy.
You can also whip it with a mixer to make it fluffier and spread easier. This helps too.
